hi,
finally, after 4 weeks wait i received what is going to be my 1st warmoth build.
now,
i don`t know how to finish the koa peg head veneer.
if you look at the pictures, the grain on the veneer is not as deep as the one on the laminated top.
if i fill the veneer with clear grain filler (before i apply the sanding sealer and poly gloss clear coat) i`m worried that i might
remove some of the wood when sanding (the veneer thinner than i expected) that my hand might shake.
any suggestions, guidance here?
also, how can i enhance the grain on the laminated top?
will some shellac sanding sealer and then a poly clear gloss coat do the job or should i use some tru-oil (like 2 or 3 thin coats) and then do the fillig, sanding, sealing and clear gloss?
i`m not in a rush and want to make sure my 1st project turns to be a good one, and the 1st of many.
many thanks in advance
