Life has a nasty habit of getting in the way of projects.

F'rexample:

Koa-top LP Special, assembled, wired up, effed up the wiring, tried again, effed up again, two interstate moves, three jobs, one lawsuit, clinical depression (treatment ongoing), so no progress since early 2014.

So yeah, I can relate.

Miscellaneous other projects at least one of which I plan to get some progress on over the winter break:

- VW (EBMM Van Halen/Axis) project
- Western red cedar baritone Telecaster
- HxT rear-route alder telecaster (I just scored a 24.75" conversion neck for $40 on Craigslist!)
- Restring the lap steel in C6 tuning

Who knows what else might happen.

It's actually pretty much done. I put the neck on & installed the Bigsby the other day, pulled the protective film off the pickguard, put on all the knobs and such then whisked it to the tech to have the neck professionally set up (because I don't have nut or fret files and this guitar deserves the best). I forgot to take a pic first so in that, I'm remiss. I expect it back some time this week. Decent photos as soon as I can get them. Damn, I'm looking forward to getting it back.

Just so you guys don't go into photo deprivation, here's a pic of my 40+ year old FujigenTele that will probably be my next project. It needs a new neck and a bridge pickup (the original Bill Lawrence L-250 that's in it went bad). I may turn it into a baritone.
