I wonder if you guys are aware of the fact the Bardens make many more different models other than the famous Danny Gatton T-styles.

There are, for instance,  JBE pickups for RIC guitars, JAG-styles, mini humbuckers, Jazzmaster Two/Tones and many more. Check'em out!

I know  :icon_biggrin: - I've got Two-Tones in my Pau Ferro Tele:

Yes, I've got a Nashville set with the Strat deluxe in the middle in a Tele. Awesome pickups. It's in a non Warmoth so it's not been posted on the forum.

I'd like to try a pair of two tones like Frown posted at some point.

Yup, and I used his P90 replacements in this early project...very strong, clear pickups.

The Two Tones are designed to be split. How are folks' experience with the TTs split? Wondering how different it sounds from split coiling a hot SD or Dimarizo humbucker, or some such.

Two Tones can be split [as I have] or, due to the wiring, tapped, so plenty of options.

I've not tried them with my new amp yet, but with my Lonestar Classic, I find them to be solid performers - coil split definitely thins out compared with the humbucking growl as you'd expect, but it's still assertive and can bite with crunch / gain. Back off the levels and it tames nicely - never sounding shrill or weak, just softer, then quieter as you continue to reduce volume. Sound awesome in SC mode when using both neck / bridge - funky and clucky. Back to ballsy and fat with HB mode activated.

Can't remember what value my volume pots are though and as I've not one installed, can't vouch for behaviour with tone pot interaction... I've not got a treble bleed installed.

If Tascam would get their act together and release drivers that worked with my Tascam US-366 and El Capitan, I'd do some recording...
