Well....not a lot to look at yet. It's a roasted swamp ash body blank, Strat neck pocket with 720 mod, 2 wood mount humbucker routes, and a Strat 5 way switch. I was ready to cut my own body shape, but I didn't think that I'd have the time to be patient enough to set up the body cavity routes properly, so this was a great stepping stone.

The centerline joint is beautifully done, and if I wasn't able to see the end grain I would have guessed that it was a one piece. The grain joins up quite nicely in the middle.

That is nice.  I did not know they did roasted blanks.
I did my 1st original body style like what you are planning.  It’s a very good option and you know everything will line up perfect.  Additionally, a routed WARMOTH blank is not much more than. A good seasoned blank anyplace else.

DMRACO - I think the roasted blanks are pretty new. I had been stalking the site for a while and dismissed the routed blanks until I saw that they came roasted.

Rgand - yes, it's a Warmoth routed body blank.

Good to see them offering roasted blanks. I tried to get one last year and at that time they weren't available. Thanks.
