I probably should've posted this first but too late
I'm new to the Warmoth experience. Still quite a beginner in guitar builds, as I've only done three so far from kits acquired from other sellers. Started with a Mockingbird clone, then a 5-string bass, then a 7-string JEM clone. The woodworking and finishing parts have been the biggest learning curve. Reading forums and watching YT videos can only take one so far until you get your hands dirty.
But I'm looking to build a K-V and going totally metal on it (Arcade headstock, naturally ). It might be cheesy '80s metal, but then again, so am I I'm a long-haired dude in his late 40s and working in IT!
Contrary to my screen name and avatar, I am not an insurance salesman, however. Groundhog Day just happens to be one of my wife's and my favorite movies.
