Hey everybody, how can you tell what profile a warmoth neck has? I am trying to buy a used warmoth and The neck says the fret size and radius but where does it say what the profile is? if I am buying online and the person says its a standard thin, how can I tell? Say for example, this one      https://reverb.com/item/24056340-warmoth-partscaster-black            it shows the radius and the fret size..  Thanks

There's no reference on the neck itself, but the dimensions/descriptions they give here for various profiles usually provide enough clues to positively identify it.

If you're looking for a way to identify it sight unseen, you may be out of luck. Have to trust the seller's report.

I think it must be a standard thin. All the 'upcharge' necks are marked with the profile on the heel and that one isn't. That narrows it down to fatback, boatneck or standard thin and I think that the 'step' change in thickness from the heel to the neck shaft is much less on the 2 deeper profiles.

Just my two-penn'orth, YMMV etc.
