I shook Linda Manzer's hand today

LOL! Trust Dethklok to remind us of what works.

"Awaken, awaken, awaken, awaken! Devour worlds, smite forsaken!"

My favorite episode is still "Bluesklok" wherein Mashed Potatoes Johnson ties cinder blocks to their hands to slow them down.

I'm not sure I could pick a favorite. Wish they were still making new episodes. But, I think Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha are having too much fun in real life to play with the cartoon thing any more. Not enough hours in the day, I would guess. Helluva show, though, right? Mr. Small has a great sense of humor best expressed in satire and parody. Lotta repressed anger in an intelligent psyche being expressed. I'm sure at some point he'll have to get back into it in some form. It would be a waste if he didn't.

Yeah it's got to go on, season 4 ended in a cliffhanger! There may be no more seasons, but a 1 hour rock opera will be out in October that picks up where the season ended, and Small has said he wanted to end it with a movie.

We're here to play some Mississippi Delta blues. We're in a horrible depression... and I gotta admit it: we're starting to like it.

That always cracks me up.

Oh yeah, I looked at the picts of your guitar online Trevor, very nice, very nice indeed.

So I dropped in to see Peggy to check on the guitar to make sure the neck is good and all that.  Looks pretty good!

Then I said, "Hey Peggy - what's in that big road case against the wall"
She said, "Hey Trevor - I'll show ya"

It was the freaking archtop Pikasso.  RIGHT THERE IN FRONT OF ME.

I strummed it.  :)

Ok; now I'm really jealous. I want a guitar with necks and strings pointing all over the place.

I'm sure Linda would build one for ya.  You would probably have to sell, well, every other guitar you own to pay for it through.  :tard:

I actually still can't believe I saw the thing in the flesh.  Freaks me out.

The guitar is (almost - see below) done!  I picked it up today at Peggy's shop:

so what's not done?  Installing the bender.  The plan is to take the guitar on a trip as is, then send it off to Gene Parson's for bender install later.

Well, good for you! I'm happy for you!

It may be one of the seven deadly sins, but I must confess: I'm very envious. To have a top-end luthier (a real one!) build you a real guitar from scratch has got to rank up there with one of the better experiences a player could ever have.

I sincerely hope it not only meets but exceeds all your expectations, and allows you to accomplish what you've set out to do.

I have got to say that geetar really sounds sweet!
Very nice little diddy there as well.  I am really anxious to hear it with that bender, so keep on postin'
:rock-on:
