piezo's and synths for OFR's....

boy, I'm gonna get me a guitar with floyd and piezo  *sings a happy song* I've waited for this for quite some time, and I'm a very, very happy camper!!!

c'mon, this aint fun!

A friend of mine is dealer/official partner of a company called shadow electronics. those guys have something better. 6 little pickups for in a floyd-saddle. sort-off humbucker, but not quite. this device is better (he gave me a soundclip) than a real piezo, and it works better and tracks better for synth than regular piezo saddles. We just have to wait a few months. its supposed to be cheaper.

well, we, floyd users, can finally have piezo, and that makes me a happy camper.

Oh my gosh! I have been looking for something like this since i found that ibanez made a double edge piezo bridge!  I love you orpheo!  :party07:

sorry Orpheo

the hex pickups built into a bridge piezo system are going to have better synth tracking than that Shadow pickup which is the same thing as Roland's GK2/3. Also,  Ive had problems in the past with the strings buzzing on the GK2 and the only workaround  was raising the action...Crap. And then youve got that big ugly box on the back of your guitar to deal with.

hi,

sorry, you dont know what system I'm reffering to. its not yet on the shadow-site. its really, really new. its not their hex-element. its 6 little mag. pickups in saddles, which gives it a better sound compared with piezo. I've been to this friend of mine today, and we tried it out. a guitar with this new system, and a guitar with the piezo's, and a guitar with the GK3. the new shadow-system is far superior to the others :)
