I am close to finishing a Warmoth  Strat with active EMG  3x SA's ( just needs a nut- no not me,?? ...). The EMG's to my ears  sound glorious, however, I do hope you went for the famous EMG Gilmouresque presence/mid bass cut control, that is De Riguer with EMG's IMHO. Mine isn't near as flamboyant as yours though.

If I had a legit workspace I'd call it the 'mad lab', too. like, i've been calling the gym the 'muscle office' for so long my coworkers don't even know what i mean when i tell them that's where I'm going. those EMG pickups are no jokem dude, shred it loud and proud, brother.
