when i built my last tele a couple of months back i was a bit concerned that i was buying too many guitars - it was my 6th guitar (strat, lp, jm, 335, acoustic and the tele).

my tech laughed at my concern and said one of his customers has 600 plus guitars!

well how many do you guys have?

Bah, too many guitars!

I know at least 3 people on this board that have over 20 guitars. My guitar teacher has 67 guitars.
I have three guitars, and as soon as I get a job that pays good, I'll have a few more!  :toothy10:

Around 15, counting works in progress.
One Edwards Les Paul I bought in Tokyo.
Three I made myself.
Three 'Half-moths' (Warmoth necks on non-W bodies).
Seven Warmoths.
I'd like to build more, but my apartment is <400 sq. ft. It's full.

let's see...

green warmoth tele
red warmoth tele
paisley warmoth tele
Rickenbacker 620
Rickenbacker 360/12
Chandler 555 (for sale)
warmoth fenderbird bass
yamaha acoustic.

Plus

mandolin,
ukulele
dulcimer
drum set
bunch of percussion instruments
a tonne of harmonicas
a tonne of tin whistles
a bowran

Not enough :(

Semi Warmoth Strat

BYOC Lazy Sprocket (Boss Slow Gear)
Danelectro Cool Cat Chorus

7, and one in progress. I feel like 10 is my magic number - these plus another acoustic, a travel guitar and an archtop would pretty much do me.
Warmoth LP
Warmoth hardtail strat
Warmoth thinline tele
Warmoth bass
1/2 warmoth / mighty mite strat
1/2 warmoth / fender baritone
Larrivee OM-09 acoustic

In progress: hollow tele. Guess which make!

thinline or chambered?

and what are the specs you are planning?

I don't have nearly enough either.

1969 Telestar
Jackson Dinky
Warmoth LPS
Norman acoustic

Plus a Partscaster that's in progress.

My rig is pretty simple too: Dunlop Wah, Boss OC-3 Octave, BF-3 Flanger, DS-1Distortion and NS-2 Noise Suppressor into a Peavey ValveKing 112.

But I will certainly acquire (and build) more guitars once I have the money and space for them.  :icon_biggrin:

Four electrics and a classical. I have two W bodies but I hope the next years I won't make another guitar.

Warmoth Soloist
PRS CE 24 (20th ann)
PRS McCarty single cut. 10top with birds
Mighty Might partscaster.
Samic acoustic
Custom Shop Martin D 35

another warmoth will be joining the family soon!!!!

STOP hamer time!

3 Gibson Les Pauls
3 Fender Strats (soon to be trimmed to 2)
1 Gibson Flying V (old)
1 Gibson Melody Maker (older)
1 Gibson ES-335
1 Dean Z Series
1 Ibanez Iceman (pretty old)
1 Fender Jazz Bass
1 Epiphone Mini Les Paul
1 Ovation Acoustic (which I loathe)
and a couple of other cheap acoustics.

...and I'm adding a semi-hollow Warmoth L5S as soon as they can get it to me.

Warmoth Tele
Warmoth J-Bass
CIJ '72 Tele Custom
MIJ Strat
Rickenbacker 360/12
Epiphone Les Paul Bass
Godin Electric/Acoustic

...and another Warmoth J-Bass in the planning stages.  The neck's already ordered.

Ibanez RG570
Ibanez Exoticwood Zebrawood Acoustic
Seagull Artist Portrait Acoustic
Oscar Schmidt Acoustic

One warmoth in progress  :icon_biggrin:

Levin acoustic (started out as steel string in the 40's but is now converted to nylon). My first guitar, inherited from my grandmother.
Harmony acoustic on permanent loan from a friend, he bought it on a vacation to California when guitar withdrawal got too bad. I play this guitar every single day, I'm about to record an album with it and have several city festival gigs in august. I may get more higher class instruments in time, but I will never sell it.
Schecter Tempest Custom, was my main guitar for over two years. A fine instrument for the money, but kind of bland. It lacks personality and the pickups are pretty bright. This guitar is for sale.
Hagström Swede (2007 reissue), the finest electric guitar I have ever played. It is an excellent instrument in pretty much every way with a wonderful hefty tone to it. I will never sell it.

I'm lusting after 2 or 3 Warmoths, a Crimson Guitars LP-type guitar and japanese "lawsuit" Les Paul clones. And a better classical guitar, and maybe a steel string acoustic (Ibanez EWC probably).
