Help me decide on a color for my Nashville Tele

I’ve got it in my head that I want to build a Warmoth Hybrid Tele into a Nashville meets Hendrix type thing. Neck is on order, which is a right hand reverse CBS style neck, 2pc maple/maple veneer, F style tuners etc in a vintage tint.

Pickups will be two Strat and a Tele bridge.

The question is what color body and pickguard?

Vintage White, Light Yellow, and Cream all seem like good ideas with a white pickguard:



But I’m open to any and all suggestions!

That too, it seems a little brighter than the Hendrix RI Strats which are closer to Vintage White

Olympic white when older may look more vintage white. That said for a Hendrix vibe though I would avoid cream.

What about red, white, and blue? In sparkle? With cream binding?

Fender has done several Jimi inspired guitars and they have all been oly white. Thats what I would go with for this.

I'd go vintage white or olympic. Totally personal but I find light yellow and cream kind of ugly

Light Yellow / Cream remind me of the Dan Smith era Teles

Blizzard pearl is the correct answer when looking for something slightly on the creamy side of white.

Looks amazing with white pg, plastics, and maple neck.

Check out the older squier deluxe from maybe 10 or 15 years ago.

Metallic white is my fave. But its gotta be white white though.

Do you know what color you want the middle pickup to be? Fender did a couple of runs where it was white and it really didn't look good, and then they did some with a black Strat pickup and for some reason they still looked "off" to me.

I like the idea of the Nashville Tele in theory, but for some reason hate the way they look.
