Ok, I made my order... Woo! I spent A LOT of dough! Way more than expected haha but at least I didn't go over my total cash pool (just don't have enough for a bass now). I'm really excited! The neck is gonna be perfect!
Btw, I went with a Wenge neck instead because I couldn't pass up on this beautiful looking Macassar Ebony fretboard. I figure that Wenge/Ebony would be slightly less bright than Bubinga/Ebony, and brightness is a concern considering the Maple body.
P.S. Cagey, thank you for the bass suggestions! Rondo/Agile is pretty awesome! I'll consider it but I got some serious GAS for a Cort bass though haha.

Although I stated in a previous post that I'd rather wear out strings than frets (and I still say that), I have not noticed any increase in string wear on the 2 stainless steel fret guitars I own.
