I'm hoping to put something like this:
Dij31_kVAAEQcaG.jpg

In neon pink, with a black outline on the gloss poly covered maple headstock of my Jazzmaster neck.

How would one get their waterslide decal neon pink?  I've seen printer waterslide paper, but don't have a colour printer, and haven't found the printer that can get the shade I'm looking for anyway.

Is there a better option for this?  What about vinyl stickers, or silk screening?  Anyone with experience with something like what I want to do?

Check out Rothko & Frost. I see they do colors now too.

if you can get a  vinyl sticker cut out , can use it as spayed print mask .

btw in Chinese , the word you use is simplify Chinese , butter use traditional Chinese  戀

index.php

Or some other styles of calligraphy

As 戀 not exactly direct translation of “ love “  ,  it a kind of statuses of love .

for example is carrying a torch for someone is 單戀

Break up is 失戀

direct translation of “ love “ is 愛 。

not sure you can display Chinese word in this post .

I think I understand, so the better translation of love is:愛
Is this the one you pronounce Ai?  Here's the kanji for it: 爱

yes :headbang:

In Japanese there are two words that are typically translated as love, koi and ai.  My understanding is that koi is more of the infatuation/longing/romantic side, and Ai is more affection/lasting love . . . so I was going to go with koi.  Because this guitar is going to be damned sexy.

Might be a moot point, as after pricing some options I may just end up leaving the headstock blank.  :p

koi is more of the infatuation/longing/romantic

yes , same as Chinese too , Japanese kanji come from Chinese, most of them got same meaning  , but some of them got different meaning .

that comment in Chinese too, as different province of China some of  kanji  got different meaning .

Koi on the headstock? If you have a left handed guitarist on stage, you might be slapped with a large carp (or trout)

That kanji would look good on an engraved neck plate.  One of our members does that.  That way you could leave the headstock clean and clear. As they say, nothing says warmoth better than ...

Yeah, I was thinking of doing it on the neck plate too.  Although I want it in neon pink, so it will have to be painted or a sticker.
