I have a friend with a prewired 920d pickguard with an oak grigsby switch and an HSS layout with three lace sensors.
His objective was to drop it into a korean made Parker Fly body however the Oak is just too deep, necessitating a different approach.
I have acceptable soldering skills but little reverse engineering electronics experience.... I've offered my services, would appreciate your collective help please!
An alpha low profile switch is the option we think will fit, a new alpha switch has eight tags in a line. My question is a straightforward one - how best to transplant the arrangement from the existing Oak switch onto the alpha...
The oak has four sets of tags either side, the alpha eight in a line - be interested to know how they relate.
Thanks
