First-time build, so I want to get a harness for this one. For the P90s I want 500K pots instead of the standard Jazzmaster 1 meg.
920D does this one, with a treble bleed: https://920dcustom.com/products/jmh-lambertones?_pos=1&_sid=4ab56895e&_ss=r
Anyone had any experience with this harness? Recommend something else?
Thanks!

I’m sure 920D does good work, but $179 dollars? Another option would be to buy components that you want and have a local guitar tech wire it up, it would probably be a good bit cheaper.

I've bought a wiring harnesses from 920d which included pups plus a pickguard.  It was for a nashville tele, and it was excellent.  If you add it up from buying everything seperately it turned out to be cheaper.  Plus it saved me a ton of time in soldering.  Saved 60 bucks.  Final soldering I let the luthier do it, it was part of the set-up package so what the hell.

The guys at 920d are pretty nice, and if you know exactly what you want in terms of pups (or maybe they have something in stock that would work for you) I'd call them and ask them if they could put a complete package together.  It might be cheaper than you think if they do everything.

Of note though, the pickguard they sent me was not an exact match for a warmoth pickguard, so I had to get one from warmoth.  So at the end of the day I broke even.  The pickguard fit a fender tele (a Chris something version in Arctic White) but not as nicely as the warmoth's own.  I'm pretty sure the warmoth jazzmaster pickguards are different, but who knows.

Hey, birds of a feather. I'm also planning a natural finish, and leaning towards a black pickguard and chrome pickups.
What did you use for the finish? I'm leaning towards Tru-Oil, on the neck and body.

I snagged that one from the showcase, and it included a clear warmoth applied gloss finish.  It's chambered and really light and a joy to play.  Tru-oil is a nice finish, done it on other guitars, and while the warmoth finishes cost extra, they are worth it, if you go by the amount of time you spend applying the oil.  On the other hand, doing it yourself, and getting a pro finish is very satisfying.  I guess it depends how much time you got.
