NY Times Square is advertising today as Happy Good Riddance Day.  Get rid of your worst memory/event of 2011.

What would you like to say good riddance to from 2011?  Anything specific to music?  I'd like to say good riddance to the clutter in my music room.  Time to get more organized.

Good riddance to only having one Warmoth. Second one should be done within a few months ish, depending on cash flow.  :toothy12:

Same here!  I need to find the floor again. I know it's there somewhere.  :)

Good riddance to the joke of a company I currently work for, and all the retards that run it into the ground...

Ohhhhh, those of you who know me know what I'm not saying, but yeah.  Good riddance to all that.  I'm in a better place than I've probably ever been, and done it on my terms.  Focusing on being positive and moving forward = a big win in my book.

Also, good riddance to the few extra pounds I've somehow lost and the pewp-tastic cover bands I wasted my time with this year.

That's good to hear Mark, being positive is always a good thing...

Also lost about 20lbs, high Cholesterol & triglycerides, and my PC satellite/subs that I'd been using to date for recording. (Replaced with a pair of Alesis M1 Mk2's) Woot!

Good riddance to worrying about my piece of sh** brothers insults he's always trying to sling at me.  Since he's a worthless piece of sh** that's never done anything in his life he likes to bash me every time I accomplish something or I'm proud of something I've done.

This past year I'd decided I'd no longer put any stock in his insults because I'd finally woken up and realized he's just mad because he sucks at life and he knows it.

I lost about 25 lbs too, just traded out eating sandwiches when I was hungry for a bowl of cereal. I am really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really tired of eating cereal. Really. But it works. Dammit. :icon_scratch:

I lost 75 pounds a few years ago, but it damn near killed me. I was on the pneumonia diet. Used OTC drugs like a fool treating the symptoms until there was almost nothing left of me. Spent 2 months in the hospital over that one. Lost a good part of my right lung. No fun at all, so I'm going to try not doing that again.

I feel like I've gained 25lbs this year (not sure, I haven't dared to touch the scale for months) but that's another thing. Something to deal with in 2012.

Good riddance to bandlife. I quit my band a couple of weeks ago and while the other members are wonderful people, we weren't on the same musical page anymore and I got tired of getting home in the middle of the night after earbleeding loud rehearsals and gigs. I seriously doubt that I'll ever play in a band again. Projects, sure but no more infinite commitments.

Being in a band is often a surprising amount of work, both physically and mentally. Most people who haven't been involved in that sort of thing only see the end result where the fun is had, and lust after that situation. The reality can be a real pain in the shorts, though. If you're lucky enough to make any money at it at all, then divide your hours into that, you end up finding that you're working your ass off for about $.35 cents an hour or less.

good riddance to having only one kid...aparently... :)

Congratulations, Marko!

Good riddance to having only two, at my end:

aw thanks, and very cute :)
it will be two for me in 2012 though :) so, this is not specific to Dec 28

Good riddance to the crazy renter lady that hit me in the face with a wheelbarrow, cut my fingers, broke my friends camera, dented my truck, trashed a house, punched me repeatedly in the jaw, and who's skanky buttocks I finally introduced quite wholeheartedly to Mother Earth, by way of the long arm of CB's law.

Then after calling the cops, perhaps for the fifth time about her....

Brenda "renter from Hell" Lebeau's mugshot, right after she was busted, driven, body-cavity searched, and booked.

Thats my good riddance.

She is a leech on society... rap sheet a mile long... I'm just one of the ones who wouldn't take it no more.

I think we're done... unless the state opens up more stuff on her, and calls me for witness (again)
