So, I was at a guy from my church's house...

and I played a '51 Martin for a while.

Then... the guy pulled out his father's favorite guitar (inherited).
It was a 60's 335.

It had block inlays, and cherry sunburst. It was Gibson.

It had chrome dogear p90s.  :tard:

I bet it sounds awesome, but I'd never heard of a 335 with chrome p90s, especially being post-56 (humbuckers).

Max,
Welcome to the world of vintage guitars.  There is nothing like them.  What kind of Martin?  What did you think of the neck?  Did you hear the Gibson plugged in?  Details, I need details.

Pfft. I'll just make my own vintage guitars. Brand new ones.

Don't remember exactly. It was small, though. 24.75" scale. I'll stick with my Fender scales. It was nice. It had a brown finish on it, looked like mahogany or rosewood or something. It had new tuners, and a new bone saddle. The finish... didn't even look like it had 10 years of wear on it, so I'm guessing it was refinished.

The neck was a bit thin and short for my tastes, though.

I couldn't hear the Gibson plugged in, but I did play the guy's '76 Paul, wine red a few times. He said the "335" <quotes now) had feedback problems, so it makes more sense that the guitar was a 330, with a fully hollow body.
