I would probably just route out a spot for the switch if I wanted to go that route, but I think I'd like the LP toggle better.  But if a thinline pg would fit right on it..oh man.  Got me going!

The Thinline pickguard might fit on the Strat body.  If you own or have seen a molded case for a Strat, the Tele fits it.  Some portions of the 2 have the same footprint.  However with cases, fit is approximate and won't do for pickguard tolerances.  Also, the Strat edge radius is different than the Tele's, and I don't know how close the pickguard rides to the edge of the Tele.  The Strat radius may contour right under it.  And....there's the small issue of the neck pocket.  A Tele heel may be in order on the Strat body.  Why not if it's getting a Tele neck and pickguard?
