you could easily do the string-through design vs a stop tail. Some people make crazy claims of how it affects sound - as far as I'm concerned it's cheaper than a tailpiece and looks cool.

do the jazzzz. I'm bored of Mary Kaye finishes (and i've only seen like 2 on here). And an all rosewood neck would be sweet

I'm thinking a sonic blue jazzmaster, string through, tune o matic with two of Curtis Novak's Jazzmaster sized Wide Range humbucker clones. Tort guard, '59 roundback strat neck...maybe even a fatback..

It'll be a total Jazzblaster.

i have a great idea. buy the neck and body blanks with everything ready routed.
