First gig with my new band tonight. We're a backup band for Kenny Loggins' son Crosby in Santa Barbara. We're called Cover Story and play, you guessed it, cover songs (for now).
My Warmoth is my main axe. Film at 11.

COOL ... Good stuff    :icon_biggrin:
So it's NOT a WorkHorse ............ it's a WorkZebra    :guitarplayer2:

Played the SOhO Santa Barbara last night! Kenny Loggins' son's band was supposed to headline and they didn't show up so we were the headliners; for our first gig! It was a blast. We played for about 50 minutes. Started with Come together. My amp was mic'ed and it sounds too hot in the mix but it is what it was. My wife was a bit embarrassed because she said she had one job (to video) and the camera shut off (automatically I guess) and we only got 30 seconds of Come Together and then the very last song, Honky Tonk Women played on my Tele tuned to open G. Come Together was with the Zebracaster through a Mesa Stiletto Ace. No distortion pedal, just amp overdrive. I told her it was fine because she was a cheerleader during the whole gig getting people up to dance and she did a great job at that. Totally fun evening. There is just no other high like playing. I wish you could hear the Zebracaster on a solo. The Pearly Gates just scream. Next gig.

Oh Seymour Duncan was there and our bassist Steve had a long conversation with him. I didn't meet him dammit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qjmz094dHcA

Thanks Fernando. You're right it is too bad. Oh well, next time we'll get a decent recording.

Hello PT,

that "Zebracaster" looks really georgeous. I envy you a little for that kind of top, but as well I am happy for you, you received that brilliant piece.

Bye  JULIA

Thanks Julia... I was lucky to find that top.

Yep Turbo, I was really surprised. The owner of the place had to leave unexpectedly for the Bay area and wasn't there and I suspect that had something to do with it. Oh well we got the benefit of playing in front of a bigger crowd.

Yes it did. One guy asked what kind of guitar it was and one guy, after asking the type of top laminate (which let me know he knew something) said, wow that's pretty dense brittle wood. I said Warmoth did an amazing job of the building. One girl said it was a hot looking guitar. All in all , a good night.

Here's a still of it. Bad posture and all. Such a cool guitar. I put a Warmoth sticker on the headstock which you can barely see.

I was trying to induce hypnosis on the audience as a whole. :laughing7:

Sounds like a good gig and looks great under lights  :icon_thumright:
Care to tell us what gear is on your pedal board  ?

:o  Are they Zebra Shoes too ?

Curios as to why your cable doesn't go though / around your strap.
May-be you don't run around like Angus  :icon_jokercolor:
:rock-on:

I need to run around like Angus! Nobody's looking at me anyway, they're all looking at our singer and drummer.

Never thought about the chord through the strap. Good idea. I need strap locks too, I took a chance and played without this time.

Actually snakeskin boots. I do have a pair of Zebraboots but my wife insisted on these.

Ernie Ball passive volume pedal
Digitech JamMan Looper (need it since I'm the only guitarist as of now)
TC Nova repeater delay
Zakk Wylde Dunlop Chorus
Pitch Black Tuner

Cheers!
