GFS pickups and parts caster..les paul style

Here is what became of my AXL les paul I purchase for $150 for parts for my EVH build.  I wanted copper hardware and I used the Pickups, truss rod cover, jackplate, and knobs.  What was left you see here.

MY son and I "reliced" it mostly by using sand paper and throwing small rocks at it.  We also dragged it thru a rock bed a few times. 

I put in GFS BigMouth and LoudMouth pick ups.    Got them both for under $50 at GFS becuase one was on special.  Very high power...if you want clean...there are not it.  Sound great with gain though!!

there is a slight high spot on the 14th that needs addressed...other than that it was OK.  I am going to wait for the next string change so the neck can settle.  I have no idea how long it sat or how old it is.  There are some interesting "greenish" areas on the rosewood finderboard.
