I got my stuff sold on ebay...  Paypal is going through its slow motions...  I'm getting my plans together...  Chomping at the bit...

Here's what I've put together for an order, did I forget anything?
I'll have everything set to place the order by this time next week.

Body
Body Style: Thinline, Mahogony Body with a Bubinga top.  Two F Holes
Route: Rear Routed
Pickup Route: P90xP90
Bridge Route:Recessed Tune-O-Matic with Staggered string through holes
I'm not sure how to order the control options, I want a hole for vol, one for tone, and one for a 3 way toggle.

Total:
$292

Neck
Type:  Warmoth Pro CBS
Orientation: Right Handed Reverse Headstock
Neck Wood:  Wenge
Fretboard Wood: Pau Ferro
Fret Size:  SS6115 (stainless steel)
Nut Width: 1-3/4
Contour: Fat Back
Tuner Holes: Planet Waves
Nut Prep:  Corian
Total:
$292

Naturally I'll need the bridge, jack, tuners, yadda yadda yadda.  I've already ordered the p-90s from Reed James, they'll have Macassar Ebony covers.

Thoughts and suggestions appreciated.

I would suggest a matching veneer in the headstock... matching the body or the fingerboard...

I'm not really sure about double F hole on Teles... You may ask for one of the employes...

About the control, ask for: "Rear Routed stock Thinline controls"

or: "Rear Routed stock Tele controls"

I think the Thinline will be nicier!

I suggest too: buy the pot from Warmoth, the ones I bought from StewMac didn't work on the body (they were too short)

Sounds really good!

I hope you have big hands! 1/34 nut width along with the fatback contour make for one thick neck. If you havent already done this, go to a store and play on a bunch of necks first before you order.

Thanks.  Just the sort of feedback I'm looking for.  My thoughts on this are/were/will be completely related to sound.  I know that more mass on a neck equals a bigger sound.  But then again, I've still got to play it. I'm reminded of a scene from "Chasing Sound", the documentary on Les Paul, when he tells of how his mother once said that you won't see a cowboy on a horse playing a railroad track, after he made a railroad track make a beautiful sustaining note with a pickup and guitar string.

I'll probably back that nut width down, but still keep it fatback.  And no, I don't have huge hands.  But I do keep my thumb planted firmy on the back of the neck thanks to classical lessons as a teenager, even when playing bluesy.  You can reach a great deal further and have more control over your fingers this way.  With a width too thin, I tend to have problems.

Agreed with Brian about the traditional nut size... Fatback I've is really fat and I'm keeping my strings about 2mm higher than the frets... It's very huge, I think I'll addapt well, if not, will sand untill 24,5mm instead of the 25,4mm now...
