i'm not sold on the lam top, but the black korina and the whole neck are simply amazing.

will the maple be dyed/burst/somethinged?

For the bridge i have a Takeushi 6 string, but probably i build a Piezo system for Variax Bass modif (i have a variax bass for) .

Absolutely gorgeous! Makes me wanna build a bass. I don't know what I'd do with it - they're too complicated for me. All those strings, and the timing thing... Maybe I'll see if I can talk a bass player into letting me build one for him.

I don't like Geckos but this is a very very nice woods choice (I'm addicted to ziricote). Congratulations !

Someone told me that splinters may appear on wenge if it's raw (no coat).
Is that correct ? I'm a bit confused because it's a wood I would choose for a raw neck.
