That is a really nice neck. 
I also have a Canary neck on one of my strats that I love.
I honestly don't know if I will every buy another finished neck.
The feel of naked exotic wood is just sooooooooo...  Well, you know  :headbang1:

I really like that one too.  I want an SG with that wood and finish.  It looks like smoke.

$749 is pretty good to begin with.

Yeah I know, but it's just out of reach. I probably can't even justify spending $699, but I don't think I'd be able to stop myself - who needs a bathroom remodel anyway? We'll see if it makes it past the holidays then maybe I can make it happen.

I think on the inside I'm just wishing someone would just buy it. Then I could own it vicariously through them at no cost.
 
That's how I feel about the purple flame maple strat body that's in the showcase right now.  It's already not too bad price wise, but I can't spend the money.  If it goes down in price though, I think I'll have to get it.

Is this the one?  If so, I have been diggin' this one as well.  I am just a purple guitar fan...
I would prefer it without the magenta, but it is a beauty of a purple geetar...  :glasses9:

Yeah, that's the one.  I'm gonna have to kick myself if someone else gets it because I really like it with the magenta burst, and since that's a non-standard finish, I wouldn't be able to order it.  :sad:

From the paint section of the Warmoth site:

"You may find some of our custom finishes in the Showcase section of our web site (flames, odd colors, etc.), however, we've been backlogged for too long and are currently not accepting custom finishing orders."
 
True, but other than the color combination, I don't see anything "custom" about it. Magenta with a purple burst shouldn't be a problem. But who knows?
 
I think they've said they could do a custom color before. They just have to have the paint or something. The trick is calling, I guess.
 
I actually called them at one point and asked if they could do a blue burst with a leeetle extra yellow in it to make it more of a teal color, and they said no.  So I'm not overly hopeful.
