I would have gone with a Warmoth headstock, normally pointy is my preferred, but i think the W headstock fits much better... :dontknow:
I actually think the explorer-headstock fits. It follows the assymetric lines of the iceman :icon_jokercolor:

Since the neck has not been cut, can it be routed for a strat neck?

Rear Routed, double P90, 12 strings bridge... Pure win...

Nah - the P90 is too much gain for a 12 string.  You need something light and airy rather than dark and nasty.

Black P90s would be great though...

i'm pretty sure they'll cut whichever. i've only seen a few bodies done like this. i think i'd call to order

and the most custom part of all: star trek Starship Enterprise inlay. all enterprises (enterprise, A, B, C, D, E, enterpise NX 01), but also Voyager, Defiant and Deep Space Nine.

Would they be to relative scale? Top or side profiles? Or an isometric view?? With tiny pearl inlays in random places for stars!!!

Resistance is futile.

it will be a sideview, not isometric, no tiny pearl star inlay ;)

and it will be for each 'block' you have on a gibson LP custom, 1 starship, but with DS9 spanning from #11 to #13.

Why not get a low output P-90 if you're worried about too much gain?  I'm putting a low output humbucker and a low output P-90 in the 12 string I'm assembling this weekend, though it is a Strat body, so it's not like I can't slap a new pickguard assembly in it if it's too much.

I'd ask Tim from Bare Knuckle to wind whatever would make a 12 string sound good in a P90 cover, so no worry about... My worry is the lack of money

Im very badly thinking i would like the look of this neck on my Five string les paul im considering building, going to go warmoth for the neck and body, with probably soap bar active
But gotta track down a good person to shape the body once it arrives and to do the artwork,
Which i need someone to do, well by someone mean new girlfriend hopefully,
Anyways heres the GAS im suffering!

Gawddddddd,
Though the slight downside is its maple, the bubinga stripes on the back are lovely
But ive been loving the wenge of my z bass,
So depending what the colour of the body is, thatll determine the fretboard and neck woods, But ill keep to my guns about getting the right wood for the right sound too though!
But would have block inlays, or something else equally funky

Pau Ferro on Mahogany .... bitching ...  :icon_thumright:

EDIT: That didn't make much sense without the picture ...  :laughing7:
