I went to the builder and put that on a mahogany body. It was quite nice.

Ya know - I quoted the Journey song simply because of the "Blue jeaned girl". However. Look closely just north of the belly button (index hole) and there appears to be a coronal view of a face in the style of the "Frontiers" album cover.

I would have expected that to work out better, but it doesn't do anything for me, either.

Could be scale, I sized by the neck pocket. It works out pretty close with what I've heard here comparing the two bodies... It just looks like someone stuck a single neck pocket on a double  neck body. About twice as wide as it ought to be.

Anyone with both care to comment on my scaling job?

Bridge too small? Measuring what's laying around here, that bridge style is 3.5" wide and that body is 12.5 at its widest.

Maybe boost the bridge to 110% and see what it looks like. It's possible that it just needs more to fill the top. Maybe add a Tele control plate just for reference. Once it's to scale then take the plate away.
