Outstanding combo!

Congratulations.  Note tung oil is a penetrating oil, not a hard film.  Easy to repair, but easy to ding.  All that said - you're gonna be a musclebound thug after a few weeks carrying that baby around.

7 pounds, 3 ounces  at a screamin' $195 - fat bottomed girls, you make the rockin' world go round!

I just had it delivered......  :icon_biggrin:

going Tung oil all over with gold hardware.  Havent picked out a neck yet.

I was seriously tempted, especially because of the solid maple body.  Enjoy!

If that were a 5 string neck, I'd get it for a deluxe 5 jazz, with a walnut top and black korina back, in satin clear...  :glasses10:

That sounds snazzy, but my own tastes are much more pedestrian - black P-bass with a tortoise-shell pickguard.  Simple Simon.

More like two black holes or some other void to fall into ...

Aaaahh

Can you guys tell me WHY in heaven, earth, or hell would they do an absolutely gorgeous high grade flame maple, and then NOT do a rear rout?

Plexiglass pickguard?

I've considered that.  It doesn't help with the control plate, and I don't really like the way jazz basses look with just the plate and no pickguard.  I put this virtual together just to look at it, still doesn't work for me.  Also I think i want to do an Audere system.  Rear rout would work better.
