GAS Alert!!!!

Really can't justify it right now, but this is almost exactly what I had in mind for the fretless I plan on doing as my next build...

So...would you be a Warmoth addict if you were searching green bodies in the Showcase because you think you need to build a green guitar for next St. Patrick's Day show?  And, that show hasn't been booked yet...

That just seems like prudent planning to me.

If you think you need an excuse like that to build one, I'm not sure that you're much of an addict (yet).

This has 'Auto Bat' written all over it  :laughing7:

I saw those (there were 2 anyhow) and they look pretty good for what they are, so long as you could coax them into doing a bound body with the same material.

Hehe! Yeah, that would make more sense.

I just can't imagine what that would look good on.

Very Liberace, isn't it  :laughing7:

Get an LP like that, but bound in the same stuff. Sadly it'd also need gold hardware, but as a diehard Purdue fan, black and gold sometimes is necessary.

Yeah, that's horribly gaudy. Can't do much, other than black gloss.  :dontknow:

Epiphone recently did a series of guitars with binding like that, called the 'Royale' series.

Their's is a slightly stronger and bolder gold-bronze colour, but it's the same idea. Look pretty swanky to me.

First neck is Wenge/Wenge, second is Teak/Teak. Seriously considering one to mount to this Squier jazz bass body until I can afford a Warmoth body with a Tonar finish.
