Anyone see this Ziricote in the Unique Choice Fretboard section?

A-aa-a-a-a-aaaa-aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhh....there's a big puddle of drool under my chin...I bet this didn't last 5 minutes before someone snapped it up.

Not seen on April 10th, I would have picked it up, obviously...Really fantastic one !

When viewed from far, far away, it looks like there is a face in the grain.  The "eyes" are on either side of the pilot hole and that hole also sits at the top of the "nose":

Kind of looks like a werewolf to me...

If you go with a TOM String through and Neck Pickup only (Jazz Style) it might be visible.

I really like that neck... I have to stop hanging  out on this forum or I'm going to end up with far too many guitars and aprts before it's all over... if a Jaguar body ever shows up in the showcase with no trem routing I'm not sure how I'll pay for it but so far it's been my excuse not to buy anythying. "I already have a Strat, my next project is going to be a Jaguar. But not that one, I want to put a Bigsby on it..." then again, there is one with a curly maple top, and I have been wanting to try my hand at a blue dye finish... or maybe tiger eye if I get really ambitious.


BTW- does the showcase get updated randomly, or is there a certain day of the week they usually update it???

Rarely do I like strats, but that is cool...That neck is equally cool, but I'd go with an exotic.... :headbang:

I thought about getting it, and slapping an bloodwood w/ebony neck on it..
but that would be a very very red guitar... and I like contrast, so wenge or going the other way, Canary would have been great.
it was a steal, so I really regret not getting it.
