Schroeder Top-Adjustable Locking Studs

Isn't it time someone improved the locking studs? We thought so! We are selling a lot of these as replacements to Tone-Pros because they are adjustable without a fork tool and they are more robust so that little screw head won't break off! Check out the video below to see how they adjust.

Thanks for checking out our parts!  Questions?  Shoot us an email!  jzsguitars@charter.net

Just kidding. I think it's the sexiest effing wraparound out there. I've probably built 10 guitars in my head around it. Schroeder guitars are a lovely thing :party07:

Hey, Jason -
Those are some handsome parts.  I hope you'll participate to some greater extent in our forum, and share your own guitar building adventures.

Peace

Thanks for the comments Bagman!  I'll definitely be around.  Love to offer help if I can.  If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask!

By the way, this is another part we'll be offering in Gun Black finish as well.  We haven't made these available yet, but the first small run is done and we are thrilled with them.  Schroeder TOM style bridge and stopbar.  (Schroeder Stopbar is available on our site, but not the TOM bridge)  I'll be sure to post here when these are officially listed.  :)

It's always amazed me how big a mess you can make with a router, even doing simple things. It's like the wood multiplies or something.

I'm in a condo, too, but I have a two car garage and only 1 car that's not in it most of the time. Easy to clean, easy to ventilate, lotsa space, etc.

Of course!

Having a two-car is unusual around here, even in the bigger places. The vast majority have a one-car or just covered parking, like you'd get with a better apartment.

Hey All!!
We're doing a special this week (through Dec 14) on Chrome and Gold versions of our Schroeder Adjustable Stoptail.  We ended up with some excess inventory of those finishes, so we're offering them for 20% off!

Chrome:  $100  (normally $125)
Gold:  $112  (normally $140)

We'd love to get Schroeder parts to more players!  Let us know if you would like to take advantage of this offer...  shoot me an email at jzsguitars@charter.net.  Please make sure to mention this special price.  :)

Thanks!

Those are beautiful parts!

Is there a built-in radius to those parts, or do you offer them pre-slotted or otherwise compensated for various radii?

The reason I ask is I'm sure the vast majority of Warmoth necks out there are a compound 10" to 16" radius, which means you need about an 18" radius at the bridge. Unless you have individually adjustable saddle heights, that can be a problem for those who are sensitive to such things.

Thanks for the questions, Cagey!

The out of the box radius for our stoptail is 11".  Easily adjustable by notching the saddles, which is a service we provide for an additional $10, or we have a How-To video on our site HERE.

FWIW, Dennis Fano and Gene Baker have successfully used the Schroeder bridge (on Fano Guitars) with Dennis' 10-16 compound radius.  You just adjust the depth of the saddle slot until that string is the correct height just as you would with any other fingerboard radius.

Please feel free to email if anyone has specific questions we can help with.
