That's an interesting effect. I vote with the others - needs a light transparent tobacco burst. That would be extra nice. Either that, or a clear amber tint.

What about a Bengal Burst on it?

I think with the width of the grain so accented that a 2 color burst would look best, with more than that it may wash out being to busy, I would go simple.

Bengal burst would look good but I think you might need to torch the grain a little darker. My first go on this one was about like the Tele and I had to go in and re-torch it to get the look we were after.  I would definitely burst it because it will make it much easier to get a level finish on the edges where the torch really chews away the soft grain.
