Some of you may remember this VIP body I have show , 5 years ago? Nothing have done except  Heel Contour .

index.php

Also 2 Extra Light Weight Roasted Swamp Ash , buy one from 3 years ago another 4 months ago.

Why nothing have done for 5 years ?

Inside the mind of a master procrastinator MIX of Designer/ Artists / Engineers etc .

The problem is when you think about too much how make step 6 better, so you can’t have fix step 2, then step 1 never happened.

Then inspired by this guy , so just start step 1 whatever you feel inspiration now , then step 2 /3 /4 will come naturally.

So here are the planing idea of 3 paintings tribute guitar / Jimi Hendrix , Lion Rock & Club 27

For better use my time when coronavirus outbreak made us home office and go out as little as possible.
Forced myself to kickstart 3 paintings tribute guitar .

First step is to lay down the dark background,  background is fixable, so just go experiment. Think about what to do on top of it afterward .

Step 1 : Play with fire and dye .

this the first time I try  fire and dye .

this how it look after first dye . blue and black look more interesting than red .

this weekend going to sanding and add more lays of dye .

I’ve seen this in Japan.  They burn the outside of the house, cypress or cedar, and it makes it water proof.

yes , Shou Sugi Ban is from Japanese , the real traditional way to do it burn the wood to black and crack .

what I try is just very light burn to made darken wood grain soft and easy to sunken on surface. not real Shou Sugi Ban

As coronavirus outbreak that I can’t go China factory to use milling machine to do recessed neck screw ferrules sunken .

I started to paint after dinner. I only got time drew the pants. The twists are that my acrylic was bought 20 years ago. Many colors are dry. Change to pastel and mix materials.

the Red pop up lot more in photo than real life , as I take photo in night time under video LED light , it good for video , but to vivid for DSLR .

the kickstart for me is 2 TED talk video links in first post , highly recommended  :icon_thumright:
