I bought 2 of these awesome Maple/Padouk necks from the Marbled Padouk LE summer run in 2025.
The two I bought were very similar and the only two with both light and dark color Padouk on the fretboard. Gorgeous.
Didn't use this one for a build as I changed my mind on what I was going to do.
As usual, it was Aaron Cheney that got me all hyped up on the Warmoth YouTube
channel about the LE run, and I broke out the Amex. Ha! Darn you Aaron!!
A great local luthier rolled the fretboard edges for me, AND gave the headstock the 1950's look.
More accented top bell, and higher arches on bass and treble side.
It's a slight difference from what Warmoth's stock Fender headstock template is.
They call it the "Vintage Cali Fender headstock."
The Quarterswan Roasted Maple shaft will be unwarpable for life. Hard as granite.
The Padouk itself is yet another tough as nails wood. Open grain texture and super natural feel.
No finish on either is required. Maple and Padouk equals snappy tone w great attack and a fast feel.
I paid $340 for this neck plus $75 for the finessed edges and massaged headstock.
It has sat inside my studio at 68-70* w truss rod fully slacked while being stored.
Never been mounted.

Great neck. LE neck. Unicorn neck from Warmoth. The Padouk is fabulous.
