Floyd rose

I didnt have warmoth install the posts for the floyd in my strat which should arrive tomorrow =) how do you install them? i Havnt looked into this at all is it just drilling holes with a drillbit and then screwing them in? thanks, -jc

The holes should already be drilled.  As far as installing the studs, you might want to have a local luthier do it.  I wouldn't want to do it myself.

I could'nt agree more about letting a luthier do it. It's not worth the risk of messing THAT up ! Better yet , ship it back to Warmoth ... it's a HUGE hassle,I know
that's all a part of the building process, getting yerself out of a pickle.

I asked them to do it while it was still there.  Since the account was closed, they wouldn't do it.  I have found a great local luthier who did it for the same price ($10).

why is it so difficult to do floyd-studs? I did it with Tune o matic studs, and thats dead-easy.
