Flame Koa Strat

I'm finally getting around to assembling the flame Koa Strat. I also got a roasted flame maple neck with an ebony fretboard. I think this thing is going to look great.



For Day 1, I had just enough time to copper foil tape the control cavity and install the bridge.

Beautiful ! Love the turtles for the Koa, the pearl pickup covers and the knobs. Super unique !

Sweet! The knobs are a really nice touch. Where did you source them? The neck-plate is cool, too. I ordered a Warmoth Flame Koa over Black Limba front loading Strat body about 10 years ago. Paired it with an old Modulus Blackknife graphite neck and Alembic PUs. Still my #1 player. Flame Koa is just plain gorgeous!

Sweet! The knobs are a really nice touch. Where did you source them? The neck-plate is cool, too. I ordered a Warmoth Flame Koa over Black Limba front loading Strat body about 10 years ago. Paired it with an old Modulus Blackknife graphite neck and Alembic PUs. Still my #1 player. Flame Koa is just plain gorgeous!

I bought the knobs from this guy on Etsy. He's got a lot of really cool knobs and the prices are reasonable.

The turtle on the neck plate is actually a logo that I made for my photography business when I lived in Hawaii so it adds some sentimentality to the build
