Fire Lining Strat

WOW, and I really liked the nice shiney Black you started with, I would have had to have a gun to my head to paint over that, but that Looks awesome!

I say give the best man the best woman and keep the guitar, Just kidding, Good luck with the new married life.    Hey, would love to see video of the best man when you hand him that axe, if you could work that out that would be most awesome.

Hey,

Thanks for all the positive feedback.  I'm giving it to him in the next few weeks, so I'll see if I can snap a pick of his expression.

For now, all I have is a closeup of the bridge.
This is a Wilkinson VSV400P, for anyone interested in checking one out.

It's a pretty nice bridge and feels very solid.  The guitar really rings, but of course there are many variables.
Cosmetically, it doesn't really follow the line of the cutout in the pickguard (doesn't really bother me), but it does fit.

That's all I have handy at the moment.

I got picks though.
I had asked him earlier in the night, he agreed to it, had a few drinks.
Later in the night, we go upstairs and I throw this guitar in his lap.
Showing all this and that.
And these pickups, the chrome, quartersawn maple, this knob is for this one, etc.

And......it's got this cool ass neckplate.
So he figures it out.
