finished quilt maple velocity

Finally finished this guitar.  I had it posted in a different thread.. It's a velocity body I finished myself with nitro and aniline dye.  Gibson conversion tele neck with abalone dots.  EVH pickups.  Gotoh tuners and floyd rose trem with D-Tuna attached.  Fun project.. Learned a ton.

I like it.  Not so overly wavy quilt (sometimes I get seasick looking at it).  Nice color too.

Thanks for the kind words! Meguiar's #7 and 9 along with a meguiars cloth worked great! Lots of elbow grease as well.

How do you find the Floyd without a locking nut ?

So far so good with the Floyd. The B had a bit of an issue at first, but running a little graphite in the nut cured it. Stays in tune better than my SX strat knockoff..about the same as the 87 American standard.  I have the locking nut, but I'm hoping just to leave it as is.
