Well, it's been a while but I finally have all the parts and the motivation to begin work on my Ice Tea Burst LP.  The finish is amazing (Thank you Gregg).  I'll be posting more pics over the next couple days documenting the build process.  The neck is Birdseye maple with a hand rubbed oil finish.  Pickups will be Bare Knuckle Mules.  This should be a great complement to my other 3 LPs (one Warmoth and two Gibson).

Here are just a couple picks to start the post off.

That's gonna be a beauty! Haven't seen an LP build here in a while.

Yep, been sitting on the parts for about a year now.  Also thinking about videoing the build and putting it up on YouTube.  If I do, I'll provide the link for it.

Here are the last of the build videos for the LP

This was a fun build to do, and it was my first time doing video editing for the build.  I did encounter two small problems that I s was surprised about.  Both of them were easy to correct, I just wish I would have found them a bit sooner.

Issue #1 - there was no pre drilled hole from Warmoth for installing the ground wire to the bridge stud.

Issue #2 - there was no predrilled hole for the bridge pickup wire.

As I said, both were easy fixes and didn't hold up the build.  But it is the first time I have ever had any sort of defect from one of my Warmoth orders.  This was one of the last LP bodies to roll off the line so I imagine it may have been a bit rushed.

I just chalk it up to the joy of building guitars.
