Extra Light Body

Hi folks and Happy New Year to you all!
I see an "extra light" feature in many available bodies. Looks like an option that gets the body under 4 pounds and it seems to be 40$ for it.
BUT I don't see anywhere how would one order a light body as in the configurator there's no choice for that.
Maybe Aaron could advice with how to get this and prices.
My next Telecaster body will have to be "extra light". How do I go for it?

I think you have to call in and ask, but know that "extra light" really is a relative term so if you're ordering a custom build, there's a chance it might not be as light as you expect.

Reasons why it might not be a regular on menu option:

1. Relative term
2. Warmoth has to have "extra light" wood in stock
3. It's probably somewhat difficult to know what it will weigh before it's built

You could try calling and asking how easy or hard it might be to get a body of your specs under 4lbs or whatever target weight you're looking at.

"Extra light" is indeed relative to what we happen to have in stock at any given moment.

We do not guarantee that an extra light body will hit some specific weight point.

When you order extra light as an off-menu option, you're going to get the lightest blank from among those that we have available at that particular time.

Yeah it goes in the order notes after they confirm they can do it via email. I always opt for it and have yet to receive anything over 4lbs.

Is there a summary of all of the off-menu options somewhere? I’ll be ordering a body in the next few weeks for a new build, and I want to make sure I’ve had every opportunity to hand over more money to Warmoth
