Embarking on a P90 Jazzmaster

Hey gang!  I'm about to embark on my first Warmoth build - an ash Jazzmaster body, indian rosewood strat neck with ebony fingerboard, B5 Bigsby and a pair of custom wound Roadhouse P90s with a couple of taps for selectable output.

The parts are in the mail.  The only question now is what colour to paint it?

Well, I went for Seafoam, and there's a sonic blue JM being worked on right now on here.  So go for Surf Green!  Really, any one of those options you listed are rad (though i don't particularly care the one on the far right with the black p'up covers).

I keep flip flopping between the surf green and the black with cream covers.  The only problem I'm having is finding the surf green in a spray can.  I live in Canada and ReRanch doesn't ship here...

You could get some clear nitro and dyes from Stewart McDonald.  They have recipes for tons of colors, so it at least seems like it would be pretty easy.  Then you can get a PreVal unit for around $6, which is a spray nozzle affixed to the top of a jar.  So you get the mix you want, pour it in the jar, attach to top of the PreVal and you're ready to go.

Do the black w/ cream. Surf Green looks like the result of a bad lunch from a questionable vendor. Wait... did I say that out loud? <grin>

Honestly the only one I couldn't really dig was the black/tortoise/black.

i'm gonna build a sonic blue jazzy sometime this year... so go with the black. Besides the cream/black/tort is super classy

Well, my parts arrived on Friday and I'm going to go with the black/cream/tort.  The rosewood/ebony neck looks incredible!  Thanks for all the input.  I'll keep posting pics as things move along.

looks great! is that warmoth's brown or red tortoise? looks like the pattern of the brown, but it's lighter. just wondering if that's pretty true to life or if it's the camera flash

It's warmoth's brown tortoise.  The first picture is taken with a flash and the second one isn't.  Looking at the pickguard now in sunlight, the first picture is pretty close to the real colour.
