I'm rather fond of it. I've only got $421 at the moment, so I can't buy it. It's different, but not too far out there to me. I'm also a fan of Bigsby's.
The knobs are different, too.

It's okay, but VIPs just aren't my cup of tea.

I'm considering getting a blackheart little giant with my money, buying the rest of my guitar parts, and assemble my tele while I'm waiting for the weather to warm up.
Then take it back apart and paint it. Are there any problems with that? I'm not sure about how hard tuners and all will be to get out.

And I want to know more about that finish...
it looks like it was stripped some or something, and that's the primer. I wonder if W still uses that green primer. And the swirls on top... I wonder if that's from the solvents used to get the black off.

I think it's bad ass, if I had the spare cash I'd get it. Those are extremely hard to find..And I've never liked the new VIP, but I do like the old one...The top on that one is pretty cool too.. :guitarplayer2:

You know what, that actually is a nice guitar. If it had a different paint job, I'd like it more. I've got other things I need to spend my money on, but I like that VIP shape more too.

Yeah, the Rotary knob is iffy for me too. Maybe a 3 way rotary would work better, so there's no accidental killing of the signal.

I'm diggin' the knobs too, but i agree about the rotary, kinda lame. The paint job is pretty cool to, just not feeling the color...
