Man this is awesome. im really digging all the wood! you simply must keep at least the wood pickup covers. I vote keep the knobs as well! This whole build has such a earthy natural thing goin on!!!! LOVE

It's a 'recycle' neck from another project. I had made an Iceman that always hung badly on me. But I loved the neck, a Warmoth 59 Roundback, 1 3/4" angled paddle (before I cut the Ibanez 3x3 shape. I've modified the headstock and added a mahogany veneer. Pictures soon!

I'm not that keen on the wood covers either (sorry!), but I love love LOVE the look of the S-x-S Soloist. Why? I don't know, but I want one!
