Dinky J - first build

Hi all !

I was test fitting my first build this afternoon, so I took some pics .

Body is black korina (after two coats of tung oil ) . Neck is bubinga/ebony .

Hipshot Ultralite tuners, Gotoh 201 bridge, Bartolini 9CBJS1 pickups , Audere preamp (to be installed) .

What do you think ? I love it so far :blob7:

Doing an Ash J bass right now... ordered some parts waiting on them.

Was going to do a dinky but I ended up getting a mighty mite body from evilbay (cheaper, and the wood is ash, while not as good as a Warmoth there's not too much to mess up on bodies as long as parts fit together) and ordering a neck from W. Will try and see if I can use a top routed J body without a pickguard, just the metal control plate.
