And yeah Warmoth customer service is top notch. It seems like every time I place an order I want to change something about it a few days later and they're accomodating and very cool about it.

I agree; Warmoth's customer service is excellent! They're willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure a customer is glad he did business with them.

Whenever I see an email from Orpheo in my Inbox, I know I'll need to set aside some time to read it to understand his next wild idea....  He really wants to do what???  Then I go stare at the wood piles in the shop for a bit to see if we can pull it off.  Then I go ask Ken if its OK and I usually get 'the look'.:icon_scratch:  Kinda' like Rob got with DBU's project.

The fun part begins when I write up the production order and wait for the look I get from the shop staff.  'He wants to do what?':icon_scratch:  Then they schedule the work.  That's one of the coolest things about being here; watching the shop guys do amazing stuff day in and day out. :headbang:

You know, Marko, Orph hasn't done a LP with pine, so maybe that's what it is this time 'round. He's done just about every other wood combo.....Pine body, flame Basswood lam top FTW.... :headbang:

our project thats currently in the works will be really the most awesome thing you guys have ever done. Whilst my last projects where more of the beauties and artisteries of nature, this build will be that, combined with the craftsmanship of warmoth, to the extreme, I suppose.

I can only imagine the looks you guys have when I drop in another email with yet another strange requist. but rest assured, I haven't emailed you my 'zebrano top with mary kaye white finish with sonic blue back' order yet

Yeah I'm definitely hoping Orpheo goes nuts, and builds something he doesn't have anything like. Otherwise soon he'll be building LPs from cactus or something.

Maybe go that extra mile and bust out an original shape and a custom headstock?

oh man, you're so close!!! but. not complete.

the neck won't be macassar ebony. the fretboard will be.

NO inlay this time absolutely NO inlay. the top is correct. AAAAA quilt maple time.

but, what about the bodycore?

and what about the neckwood? and what about the OTHER guitar thats on order?
