I am a Sunderland fan, I will be shocked if you know who Sunderland are, but we are in the Premier League.

Excellent. Now be a good chap and tell Roy to sell Martin Fullop to my lot, we've offered enough to pay for him twice over.

BTW my next build will feature red and white stripes honest...

DangerousR6 - what would you recommend for the Braveheart - currently it has just a plain chrome neckplate.
You could do maybe a Scottish shield of some sort, to honor the "Braveheart" motif..... :dontknow:

I don't know what Doug'd suggest, but i'm suggesting one of the skull ones.
Not sure that the skull would stand out as much on chrome as it does on black...

How about this?

A bit of searching for celtic designs, threw this up. Should fit the bill

Yeah I quite liked the modernist twist, fits the theme of the guitar well.

with that design, I would (personally) throw it on one of the black plates that Doug has. The contrast looks amazing

That is a cool design, but i think he's got chrome hardware. I doubt on something that nice he'd want to mix colors....

good call. I didn't really think that part through.

My project is a little bit too "loud" to notice a shift in color scheme

So true, would probably get overshadowed by the paint job....

Props to this guy.

I don't even care that he made a really lame joke - I still think he is the best person alive right now.
Next to the people who actually made my bass, that is.

Man, I hope my girlfriend doesn't read this...
Just in case, you are in a close fourth* darling!

*my guitar tech is also before you, but I still love you!

Just a little tip for those of you that have bought plates from me where there has been a lot of machining done such as this one.

Or like this one.

To keep from having any issues with some possible surface rust occuring, you can use some clear drying epoxy to fill it in. I took the plate that I made for that jackass that was whinning I didn't get it right, cleaned it with alcohol. Then filled in the machined area with some Devcon 5 min epoxy. It set up real nice and is crystal clear, no shrinkage around the edges and is smooth as glass. And now worries about any rusting or oxidation.. :icon_thumright:
