I was a bit apprehensive about cutting the cover. I've done it before and they can be tricky... :icon_biggrin:

I figured there was some risk inherent in modifying that part, but it still seemed like the most straight-forward approach. I'm glad it cooperated with you! Everything looks fantastic and I can't wait to see it installed!
