Not sure if this is what you're asking with the LOLCats reference, but if you're wanting a neckplate like mine, I'd rather not. Its original artwork that I intend to use as a logo. I'm stoked it came out so well in metal though!

Making up a bunch of truss rod covers right now, then taking tham down the road to get anodized... :headbang1:

Just a random question, but would you consider doing a engraved plaque (sorry if spelt it wrong) for something else im working on?
Just as when this something is finished i want to put a plaque on it in one corner of it, just thought id ask you, if one off jobs arent cost effective thats cool though

Awesome, when i know what i want exactly, ill send you the specs and such, should be in august,
as im aiming to spend july and august constantly working on this said project,
its been 3/4/5 years since last properly worked on it, its finally time its finished.
But will have the usual neck plate orders from me too, even if i dont have the second bass by the time i order ill likely design both
to save shipping later on for the both of us  :laughing7:

Sounds good to me, and just so you know, my price includes the plate plus shipping to pretty much anywhere in the world.....Except Australia, it's costs me about 4 times as much to ship there than to anywhere else.... :dontknow:

The way it was explained to me is that outside of some major cities, Australia's population density is such that it's difficult for the shipping companies to share out the cost of a truck/driver/etc.  I mean, it's a land mass of roughly 9 million square miles with less people on it than there are in New York. You could easily have a delivery guy have to drive 50 miles or more to deliver a single package, and that's a fairly common occurrence. So, they tend to slow shipping down in the hope of rounding up more than one delivery in a given area. Even so, they have to charge more to cover the service.

I doubt it. The only ones I ever hear being concerned about population are China and the US. China, I can understand. The US, not so much. We are rapidly approaching ZPG (Zero Populatin Growth), which is not a Good Thing. I think we were actually at it back in the '70s for a bit, but then immigration (illegal and otherwise) kicked in a bit. I suspect that's why so little is being done about illegal immigration. The Powers That Be don't want to say it out loud, but without immigration we're in some deep, meaningful sheep dip.

You say that like it's a Bad Thing <grin>

You're not allowed to have any extraneous guitar parts lying around just rotting. You have to dedicate them to a build or sell/trade them. Of course, there's no saying how long that build will take, and you're allowed to move dedicated parts from one build to another, so you could have several builds in process.
