Custom Laminated body.

Hi guys ,
Wanted to share an example of what one of my custom panels looks like after it comes out of the mill.
This is a panel for a cabinet I am making for my church.
See ya, Jeff.

That guitar is listed for $10 :icon_scratch:

Ok guys, I am going to take a chance with Minwax Teak Oil. Label says it is good for dense woods.  Believe me , there is a bunch of exotic dense woods in this build.
Wish me luck!!
Jeff.

First half of the "arch" is glued in place . Hope to have entire arch done this weekend.
The arch will basically divide the "H" portion of the guitar body from the front area where the neck attaches.

Here is a shot of all the multiple colors of the woods. Ran body thru the table to get rid of excess.
I do believe the teak oil is going to work.

Thank you. It is wide on the side as when you cut through the pieces at an angle they appear wider.
From the top, the colors will still be small stripes. I will keep you posted.
Jeff.

Got a chance to look at the link to the muti-wood Monmose guitar. Very nice!!
I believe that one is made out of Eastern White Ash and Mahogany.  Not sure. Could be Alder and Mahogany.
See ya later!!

Ordered the Padauk neck today from Warmoth.  Really excited to get the lamination done on the body so I can get it cut, sanded, and mated up to the neck.
Then the hard part. Finding a good luthier in Cincinnati to help me out with the hardware install.
    Wish me luck.
    Jeff.

In case you are wondering where the high pressure comes from to get these panels and secure, bar clamps!!!
Get everything lined up and crank on those handles. Then let it cure for good 24 hours.
Thanks Jeff.
