CURSE YOU, WARMOTH!!!!!!!

Being a longtime Rush fan & Geddy Lee fanboi, I've long lusted after a Rick, and planned to snag a Deluxe 5 paddle neck and shape myself a pretty mashup of modern j-bass and Rick.

And of course, in browsing the showcase, I come across these pretty things... and now my original plan is in doubt, as I've suddenly come up with a totally different yet equally awesome Geddy Lee-esque 5 string.  Black blocks + black hardware + black fretlines* + black tapewound strings + (other stuff) = a river of drool.

Alas, "build 'em both" isn't an option (unless Satan Claws is VERY generous this year)....

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO MAKE SUCH TEMPTATIOUSLY AMAZING STUFF WARMOTH?!?!?!?
