Since D.B.Uberschall posted his wicked gear Its taken me a few weeks to put together all my new toys in a way that works.  It takes some trial and error to screw with this stuff.
Pics followed by explanation:

Alright.

My guitar goes into My original GCB-95 Dunlop Crybaby that I modded myself with a 3PDT switch and Led with bypassed buffer, into my GT-10. From there I use the Effects Loop of the GT-10 for my stompboxes, 3 different distortion pedals >> EQ >> Phaser >> Delay.  The effects I like to have on hand.  I took pictures of the Metal Zone and EQ so that I wouldn't forget how I like them.  Use them for Scooped metal type stuff.. obviously.  From there the stereo outs of my GT-10 go to the stereo in's of the Alesis Air FX (something I woudln't have known about were it not for this forum) and then output to my 2 amps.  Its pretty sweet.  The footswitch for the Rivera isn't being used at the moment since I havent figured out how to use it to switch channels on my Crate amp, which doesn't use midi.  Plus I'll need 2 TRS cables long enough to reach.   I might just switch it out for a nicer Midi controller though. like an FC-300 type (i dont necessarily want Boss)  Because I'm going to get the Axon AX-50 midi converter, and a Waldof Blofeld Synth module to slap down on this thing.  That would take up the space for the mic-stand that the air fx is sitting on and it would have to move to the ground.  I decided on the blofeld after Brians advice that using midi with guitar, you need have a separate channel for each string.  The Blofeld has 25 voices so that works out nicely, and with the axon (when i get it) can set up different channels for each string, as well as split strings up into 2 parts each, and even change things depending on WHERE i pick on the string.

I got rid of my wireless because I never use it much. I was going to get an X2 but if I go midi I'll be using a 13 pin cable often enough that I'd get annoyed switching back and forth.

What do you think?  Sorry for the crappy pics: cellphone

my first reaction is you've got
1 - way too much gear
2 - way too much time to play with it

The Rivera is not midi, per-say, they just use midi style cable for the ease of design and construction. The Rivera amps use momentary contact switches to change channels, loop, boost etc. If the Crate uses momentary switching, you could build a patch cable to use with the Crate. Me personally, the Crate would stay home and the Rivera would the gigging amp. I have a Knucklehead Tre', great amp.

BTW, nice work.

The K-Tre uses that kind of switching but this head is full Midi.  Its got the channel select knob on the back and I've got the program map in the manual.
From what I understand Rivera sells midi modules for its amps that aren't midi equipped like the tre and the sedona.

Trust me I understand.  When space doesn't allow I use the Rivera.  But everything just sound thicker and fuller with both of these guys running together.  I should really get some sound clips and videos and stuff done up.
